Derek's POV
It was with intention and great determination that I strolled down the hallway and straight towards the meeting room. It was strange that the hallways were kinda deserted except for a few guards who looked surprised to see me but I didn't give much thought to this.
My blood boiled with rage as I walked. Somehow, I regretted sparing Evelyn when I had her in my grasp. I should have killed the witch when I had the chance!
I finally turned a corner and arrived directly in front of the door. I didn't hesitate to throw the door open, but alas, the room was empty…
