THE SHADOWS THAT FOLLOWS

EPISODE 3 As I settled back into my apartment, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. The whispers had stopped, but I could sense a presence lurking just beyond the edge of perception. I tried to distract myself by watching TV, but my eyes kept drifting back to the window. I could have sworn I saw a shadowy figure lurking in the alleyway below. As the night wore on, I began to feel a creeping sense of unease. I knew I had to get out of there, to clear my head and shake off the feeling of being watched. I grabbed my jacket and headed out into the night, walking aimlessly through the streets. But no matter where I went, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being followed. I caught glimpses of a figure out of the corner of my eye, but whenever I turned to look, there was no one there. It was as if the shadows themselves were moving, twisting and writhing like living things. As the night wore on, the feeling of being followed grew stronger. I began to feel like I was trapped in some kind of surreal nightmare, where the laws of reality no longer applied. And then, just as I was starting to lose hope, I saw him. The stranger. He was standing on the corner of the street, his eyes fixed intently on me. I tried to run, but my legs felt heavy, as though rooted to the spot. The stranger began to walk towards me, his movements slow and deliberate. As he approached, I could feel a strange energy building up inside me. It was as though the shadows themselves were coalescing into a single, tangible form. And then, just as the stranger reached out to touch me, everything went black. TO BE CONTINUED😎
