Chapter Fourteen,
“Benn-“, Daisy didn’t know what to tell him. She did like him in the past, but now she has garnered feelings for another man, her heart beats go frenzy for him, for her husband.
“I know you are m-married, Daisy. I know.” He sniffed, looking away from her. He wiped off his tears that streamed down his cheeks towards his chin. Daisy also teared up, unknowingly, upon seeing his helplessness.
“Feelings are not under m-my control, Daisy. It will take time for me to move on from you since…… Since I lov-loved you so much.” Tears continued to stream down Bennett’s cheeks desperately. He managed to wipe them off while talking to me. Daisy pursed her lips to suppress her whimpers, her nose flaring up each time she took in a breath.
