I broke the news to Melinda the next day at work. It was hard working up to the conversation, because I didn't want to offend her. It was slow. I eased her into the conversation by telling her that Danny and I had been thinking of a change of scenery.
In between bussing tables and getting orders out, she asked me what I meant.
Danny thought about going back towards Tennessee and seeing some Titanic museum and then taking me out to dance. I loved the idea and he said that even if there were wolves there, there would probably be too many for them to notice us.
