Wes Two Months Later I rolled my eyes up to the ceiling and contained a groan. Connor Martin was smart as hell but he was pushy too. He was the main reason why I was finally able to read and write and do math, but Goddess this was boring. I flipped through pages of the book he wanted me to read and found the one that contained the definitions of the words he wanted me to write down. Apparently, after working with him for the past five months, I was now at a fourth grade reading and writing level. He praised me and said that I was a quick learner and that if I had gone to regular school all my life, that I'd probably be smarter than even him and Little Luna by now at the rate that I was learning. I highly doubted it, but I liked the praise. Plus, the work was beginning to get harder. O
