Chapter 7

1832 Words
Origin I don't know if the sorcerer has any ability. Anyway, he is a bun seller. He occasionally looks at Feng Shui for others. It's no problem for him to fool ordinary country old men and women. After the sorcerer came and looked at me, he said that there was something missing in our house, so we couldn't control the house. We were scared by the ghost. What was missing? In the rural house, there is a room called the main room, which is what we call the living room later. At that time, the main room of the house was square when the door was opened. Ordinary people would hang a painting on the front wall of this hall. Some were portraits of Chairman Mao, some were gods, and some were landscapes. This painting was also accompanied by a couplet. This thing is called the central hall! This central hall painting was originally used for aesthetic purposes. Later, it evolved into a sign that this house was inhabited, telling those lonely ghosts that there were people living here and not to come. At that time, our main room had just been painted, so we didn't hang this central hall painting. The shaman spoke in a very concise manner, and my mother, an atheist, was also a little shaken, so she asked what to do. After receiving a red envelope of 20 yuan, the shaman gave me a talisman, burned it into ashes, and asked me to drink it with water. Later, I learned that this talisman was indeed a talisman called the Heavenly Master Talisman, but his talisman only had a shape and no brand, so it was completely useless. After I drank the bowl of water, my stomach began to hurt and I had convulsions. I was rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night to save my life. Later, the man was so scared that he dared not come out to sell buns for a few days. He was afraid that my mother would fight him to death, so he asked someone to send the red envelope back and never dared to show off again. Because of this, my mother almost had a quarrel with my grandfather, and it was very unpleasant. But in the hospital, my condition did not improve, and later I fell into a coma, just like my aunt back then. The doctor could not find the specific cause of the disease, and I went to many hospitals but it was the same. After my grandmother knew that I was sick, she suggested that my mother go to ask Cha Wenbin to take a look. My mother refused at first, but finally, when there was no other way, she asked my father to ask Cha Wenbin to come and try. She also knew about my aunt's affair, but deep down she never believed that there was such a thing in the world. Now she was desperate to try any possible means. When Cha Wenbin came, I had been taken to my home. He first asked about my situation, and then asked me where I had been to play recently. I don't know why, but my first reaction was the General Temple, but I didn't tell my family because I was afraid of being scolded. I was very relieved about this uncle in front of me. I told him that I went to the General Temple that day and what I saw in the temple. When my grandfather heard that I climbed into the General Temple, he was so scared that he almost fell off the chair, and kept saying "Little ancestor, you are really a sinner". Wenbin said that this matter was very strange. This child must be very evil, and it is hard to see through it, so there is nothing to do today. I have to wait until the next day to go to the temple to see it. When he heard that the shaman had drawn a spell for me and flushed it with water, he said that it was all a trick. The spell without the seal was not only ineffective, but would make "those things" very disgusted, so my illness worsened, which made my mother angry again. She almost rushed out to tear down their bun shop. That night, Wenbin stayed at our house. Strangely enough, that night was the night I slept the best since I got sick. My mother told me about the following events: The next morning, Wenbin was taken to the General Temple by my father. When Wenbin saw the temple, he took a few steps back and said, "It seems that there are really some problems. I didn't expect to see this thing here!" My father asked what happened. Wenbin didn't answer, but just asked my father if he knew the origin of the General Temple. My father shook his head and said he didn't know. Wenbin looked at the mottled wall and sighed: "This may not be a general temple at all! This is a Taoist temple, but this Taoism is not the right way, but an evil way!" After that, he asked my father to go back and find some people to prepare to open the door of the hall that had been closed for many years, and he himself had to go back to prepare some things. After returning to my house, Wenbin began to tell my father about this general temple. So who is Cha Wenbin? This should start with the Taoism in our country: the Taoism currently circulating is mainly composed of three sects, namely Zhengyi Dao, Quanzhen Dao, and Miaozhen Dao. Among them, we often see a very famous Taoist sect called Maoshan Sect on TV or in novels, and they are also called Maoshan Taoist priests. This Maoshan Sect does have some history. Maoshan Sect is one of the Taoist sects. It was founded by Taoist Tao Hongjing during the Southern Qi and Liang periods. Because they built a hall in Maoshan to practice Taoism and respected the Three Mao Zhenjun as their ancestors, it was called Maoshan Sect. This sect mainly studies Shangqing, Lingbao and Sanhuang scriptures, and worships Yuanshi Tianwang, Taishang Dadaojun, Taiwei Tiandijun, Housheng Jinquedijun, Taishang Laojun and others as the highest gods. It advocates thinking about the gods, chanting scriptures, cultivating merits, and practicing fasting, guiding and fasting. In the Northern Song Dynasty, Maoshan Sect, Longhushan and Hezaoshan were the three major Taoist talisman sects, known as the Three Mountain Talismans. After the Yuan Dynasty, it was merged into the Zhengyi Sect, which is now the Zhengyi Sect! The chief founder of Maoshan Sect was Tao Hongjing, and later passed it to Master Zangjin. Master Zangjin later accepted a lay disciple named Ling Zhengyang and taught him many Taoist methods. Later, for some unknown reason, Ling Zhengyang was driven down the mountain. Ling Zhengyang devoted his life to practicing Taoism and founded this sect that originated from Maoshan: Tianzheng Dao. But the rule is that the tradition is passed down from generation to generation, and it has always been very low-key. It has been passed down to Cha Wenbin's generation, which is the 27th generation. Due to historical reasons, many things have not been passed down. Cha Wenbin's master gave him some Taoist secrets and books, as well as the seal of the head of Tianzheng Dao and the Seven-Star Sword, and then passed away. As for Cha Wenbin, to be precise, he should be a disciple of the Maoshan School. It is said that the seal and the sword were cultivated by Master Zangjin and given to Ling Zhengyang who was driven down the mountain. Then they were passed down from generation to generation and became the token of the head of Tianzheng Dao. During the Cultural Revolution, the Four Olds were destroyed. Wenbin's master was naturally a feudal superstitious element. He was locked up in the cowshed and starved to death. At that time, Wenbin's father was a cowherd. Seeing that he was pitiful, he secretly brought some sweet potatoes and steamed buns to him to fill his stomach. He didn't want to be discovered by the people in the production team, and he was accused of having an affair with a feudal superstitious element and was arrested and paraded through the streets for criticism. It is said that Wenbin's father was too hot-blooded to admit his guilt and was beaten to death. His wife could not stand the rumors and followed him, leaving the young Cha Wenbin alone. After the Taoist priest released him, he accepted him as his apprentice. Wenbin was very talented and achieved a lot in a few years. Unfortunately, his master died early and did not have time to teach him many things. He only left a pile of manuscripts that survived the flames of the "Cultural Revolution" and a big seal and sword hidden on the top of the cowshed. Wenbin studied these things privately on weekdays and did not dare to show them to the public, so many links were still in a state of half-understanding. As for the Maoshan School in the orthodox Tianyi Dao, a great change also happened later. The people regarded Maoshan as a holy mountain for pilgrimage, and Taoist priests and sorcerers regarded Maoshan as a holy place for seeking the law. Strangely enough, when the whole nation was "crazy about Maoshan", a sect of witches in the surrounding area of Maoshan, or more precisely in the southern part of Maoshan, also called themselves "Maoshan", which was also written as "Maoshan" or "Maoshan" in the folk. They believed in the great Taoist god - Taishang Laojun. The founder of the sect was Li Laojun, who was revered as the "Master of Maoshan", also known as "Baizi Laojun". Friends who have learned some Dharma may know that there is a famous "Zhao Hou Shengzhu" in the Dharma sect, which is sometimes written as "Zhao Hou General". In folk legends, this Zhao Hou is the son-in-law of our "Master of Maoshan"! The magic skills taught by this sect generally follow the regular route, such as stopping bleeding, sore healing, drawing sheep, heron water, and repelling evil spirits, most of which are similar to ordinary Dharma sects. But what is different is some so-called "evil arts", such as "Jade Girl God of Happiness", which is a magic of dream i*********e, "cutting off offspring", "beautiful woman stripping", and "transferring souls and changing shadows" often mentioned in novels are the methods of this sect. In addition, attracting wild beasts in the mountains and using snakes and salamanders to heal people are also secretly circulated in this sect. I would also like to talk about the so-called "raising little ghosts". Hong Kong movies often mention extracting corpse oil, refining corpses and raising little ghosts. There are indeed similar magics in Maoshan, but they are completely different from those introduced in novels and movies.
