“Stephan, she is an old friend of mine. She happened to attend this bidding as well.” Tiffany’s words forced me out of my trance.
He was still looking at me intensely, his pupils flickering but what he said, it made my head spun.
“Okay, if you want to talk for a while, I’ll be waiting for you in the car.” He said finally shifting his gaze from me and I felt like someone stabbed my heart brutally.
He was still the same man, cold and distant towards me.
“The bidding isn’t over yet, Stephan. How can we leave before we see what others are proposing?” Tiffany asked him.
“I have presented my ideas, Tiff and I am sure we’re going to get this deal. Vivienne will be here with the team to analyse the rest of the meeting. I am getting late for an important meeting.” He said.
