After debating with my heart and my mind, I finally made a decision.

I invited Stephan for a coffee so I could talk to him.
My phone rang and I looked at the screen. June’s number flashed on the screen. She used to call me multiple times in a day to fill me on her hourly chats and gossips and also to ensure I ate on time.
I swiped the green button and put it on speaker as I was changing Emma’s clothes.
“Hey, June. Now what? Did you fight with Noel or he said some romantic words to patch up with you?” I joked because most of the time she talked about her new boyfriend.
