Sorry this was supposed to be chapter 19 and THE SHOCKING NEWS to be Chapter 20. Please don't be annoyed. Iris’ POV Weeks later, I was in the bathroom, seated in the bathtub, thinking about everything. Ever since the day I caught Alice with Sasha, the Alpha, everything had become complicated, and I was extremely stressed. I can’t believe I survived the lie. I was hurt, but I wasn’t any better either, because I was f*****g her daddy. After showering, I changed into blue jorts, a black tank top, and a jacket. I hurried downstairs and met Alice. For the past few weeks, we’d been spending time together at my house. She smiled at me, and this time, I smiled back for real. I kissed her and smacked her ass playfully. She blushed hard. I grabbed an apple before we headed out. We took a cab. As the car moved, we stayed silent throughout the journey until my phone rang. It was Alpha Duncan. I switched it off and looked out the window, scratching my neck. It hurt, the place where he bit me. Why did it still hurt? The mark was gone. Alice looked at me. She clearly wanted to ask, but she hesitated. “Iris?” Okay, she dared. I looked at her. “Yeah?” “What’s wrong?” “Nothing… just tired,” I answered. She didn’t press further. When we arrived at the school, the first person I saw was Eunice, an evil smirk plastered across her ugly face. “What does she want now?” I muttered. As we got closer, Alice spoke first. “What do you want from her, Aunt?” “Hm. Actually, it’s you I have business with. See me in my office, niece,” Eunice said before walking away, shoulders squared, her black gown swaying from side to side. I looked at Alice, jealousy and a lack of trust bubbling beneath the surface. “Since when do you and Miss Eunice meet now?” “It’s… it’s nothing serious, babe,” she stammered. I stepped closer and lifted her chin. “Please don’t tell me you’re sleeping with your aunt.” She stared at me in disbelief. Even I couldn’t believe I’d said it, but it was already out. “I-Iris, I get that you don’t trust me anymore, but… if I wanted to sleep with anybody, it wouldn’t be my aunt.” I sighed and stepped back. “I’m sorry. Just… be careful.” “I will.” She left. I headed inside for my math class. Twenty minutes into the lesson, I decided to switch on my phone. “f**k. Ten missed calls from Duncan.” Then a text popped up on my screen: 9:00 PM at Reservo Hotel. That was the second most famous hotel. I wondered why we weren’t meeting at the other one. Oh well. I didn’t agree just because I wanted hot s*x with him again. I wanted to talk—actually talk. Class ended, and Alice still hadn’t shown up. I decided to stay in the classroom for a while, at least just to calm my head. This was my life now. Ever since Alpha Duncan came into my life a few weeks ago, everything had changed. Then a guy walked into the classroom. I recognized him from my math class—Wils. He stared at me, like he wanted to undress me so badly. I felt extremely uncomfortable. These were some of the reasons I didn’t do men. He reminded me exactly why men disgusted me. I stood up, took my bag, and as I reached for the door, he grabbed my wrist and pushed me against the wall, making me groan in pain. He pressed himself against my body. I could feel his c**k hard. Eww. “Why the f**k is everyone obsessed with me?” I struggled to break free, but his grip tightened around my waist as he tried to zip my skirt down. He leaned closer. I felt his mouth on my skin, kissing my neck. Eww. Eww. Eww. “Don’t think I’m obsessed with you like every loser in this school,” he said. “I’m just doing someone a favor.” “Favor? Please stop, please,” I cried and cried, but it was useless. He unbuttoned my shirt quickly, as he played with my n*****s. No! This only belonged to Alpha Duncan. I couldn’t let this man do this to me. Anger surged through me. I kicked him hard in the groin. He shouted in pain as he fell to his knees. I hit his jaw, and blood spurted from his mouth. I held his chin. “You want me, huh?” He begged for mercy, but I was too angry. I threw him against the wall with my omega strength, and I thought I heard a bone crack. I opened the door and ran to the library. I sat down on the floor as tears flowed down my cheeks. I almost got r***d… I cried. Then suddenly, I heard footsteps. Someone was in here. “Alice!” But instead of her, I saw Miss Eunice, her face wore that same evil smirk from the morning time. “Hey iris.” She called.
