TOMORROW, LITTLE WOLF

1145 Words
~Duncan She scrambled off the bed, snatching her scattered clothes with shaking hands. The sheet fell away from her body as she dressed, quick, jerky movements, like she couldn’t get away from me fast enough. Her back was to me, skin still flushed and glistening from what we’d just done, the curve of her ass marked with faint red from my grip. I stayed seated on the edge of the bed, naked, watching her. My c**k still wet from her, chest rising slow and steady while hers heaved with panic. She yanked her top over her head, then her skirt, fingers fumbling with the zipper. “I hope this will be the last time we meet, Alpha Duncan,” she said, voice bright with forced triumph as she grabbed her bag and headed for the door. She stormed out without looking back, the door clicking shut behind her like a period at the end of a sentence she thought was final. I sat there in the quiet. Then I smiled. Slow. Dark. She really thought the missing mark meant she was free. She had no idea it only made me hungrier. And next time she ran, I wouldn’t let her get as far as the hallway. I’d drag her back to this bed and remind her, over and over, until she stopped pretending she wanted to leave. Until the only name she could say was mine. Little wolf had no idea the hunt was just beginning. I pulled into the drive just after midnight. The day had been long, too many meetings, too much pretending I wasn’t losing my mind over a girl who’d run from my bed thinking a missing mark meant freedom. I stepped inside, shrugging off my coat, when I heard it, muffled laughter from the east wing, then the unmistakable creak of a door. I followed the sound. There, in the hallway outside Eunice’s private sitting room, was one of her latest playthings, a pretty little thing with wide eyes and smeared lipstick, scrambling to button her blouse as she tried to slip past me. I caught her by the arm before she made it two steps. She froze. I wrapped my hand around her throat, not hard enough to bruise, just enough to make my point and leaned in close. “The next time I see you in this house,” I said, voice low and even, “I’ll bury you alive. Understood?” She nodded frantically, eyes watering. I let go. She stumbled out the front door without looking back. Eunice appeared in the doorway a second later, skirt rumpled, hair tousled, that defiant smirk already in place. I turned on her. “When the hell are you going to stop disgracing me?” I asked, keeping my tone cold. “There are already rumors, my only sister, the Alpha’s sister, a lesbian. Do you have any idea what that does to the pack’s respect?” She laughed short, bitter. “What’s so bad about it? I like women. You like… whatever the hell you’ve been chasing lately.” I stepped closer. “Don’t push me tonight, Eunice.” She tilted her head, eyes narrowing. “Speaking of chasing… Why did you approve Iris Rivera’s reinstatement? Overriding my expulsion order like it was nothing.” I laughed low, humorless. “Because I felt like it.” Her smirk faltered. She knew me well enough to sense when I was lying. But she didn’t know half of it. I brushed past her, heading for the stairs. “Stay out of my business,” I said over my shoulder. “And keep your toys out of my house.” I left Eunice standing there with her mouth half open, no comeback ready for once. Good. Let her stew. Upstairs, I poured myself a whiskey, neat, two fingers and stood at the window overlooking the dark grounds. The pack lands stretched out under the moon, quiet and waiting. My phone buzzed on the dresser. A text from an unknown number. A single photo. Iris. Taken from across the quad earlier that day, her in those tight shorts, mid jump on the basketball court, hair flying, body arched perfectly as she released the ball. Sweat glistening on her skin. Lips parted in focus. Below it, just three words. *Are you watching, Alpha?* I stared at the screen longer than I should have. Then I laughed low, rough, the sound surprising even me. Little wolf thought she could play games now. Sending me photos like some tease. Cute. Really f*****g cute. I saved the picture. Set it as my lock screen. Then I typed back. “8 p.m. tomorrow. Same place. Wear something easy to rip off.” I hit send and then took a slow sip of whiskey. Tomorrow night? I was going to remind her slowly, thoroughly, until she was screaming my name who she really belonged to. And this time, I wasn’t letting her leave until she admitted it out loud. Game on, little wolf. Game f*****g on. Her picture stared back at me from the lock screen. Just looking at it had my c**k stirring again, hard and insistent, like the little wolf was right here teasing me in person. I wasn’t waiting until tomorrow. I hit the call button for Thorne, my beta. “Send someone up,” I said the second he picked up, voice rough. “Fresh. Young. Curvy. Now.” Thorne didn’t ask questions. He never did. “On her way, Alpha. Ten minutes.” I tossed the phone aside and leaned back in the leather chair, hand sliding down to palm myself through my pants, slow strokes just to take the edge off. The girl who showed up was pretty enough, long legs, full lips, dark hair tied back. She knew the drill, eyes down, clothes off the moment the door closed. I didn’t bother with pleasantries. I bent her over the desk, hiked up her skirt, and buried myself inside her in one thrust. She gasped, gripped the edges, moaned my name like she meant it. But as I f****d her hard, fast, chasing release, my mind wasn’t on her. It was on Iris. On the way she’d looked riding me earlier, tears on her cheeks, body clenching around me like she was made for it. On that photo she’d sent, daring me. On the fact that tomorrow night, it would be her bent over again. The girl beneath me came with a cry, walls fluttering, but it barely registered. I pulled out at the last second, spilling across her back with a low growl. She panted, waiting for praise or dismissal. I zipped up. “Get out.” She dressed fast and left without a word. I poured another whiskey, stared at Iris’s photo again, and smiled into the glass. Tomorrow, little wolf.
