Chapter Six
Over lunch we told each other a little about ourselves. I asked Inge how she got into being a cuckcake. It seemed to me it was such an unusual thing, although I discovered later, as one always does, that she was by no means alone. She said the couple (called Nils and Karin) had first approached her, in a club. She had been dancing with a girlfriend and Karin had started dancing with her too and said her husband found Inge very attractive. Inge asked her if she minded that. Karin said no, on the contrary. She liked her husband to be drawn to other women. It was her role to keep him happy and if having other women did that, she would do her best to help.
