Evangeline woke up to a dark quiet room. She looked around and then noticed a woman sitting on the edge of the bed. She almost appeared to have a glow about her and was looking straight at Evangeline.
Evangeline kept thinking there was something familiar about her. Then she remembered the picture on the mantel of the women holding her moments after her birth. That was impossible though.
Suddenly the woman stood up but her feet never touched the floor and then she was gone. Evangeline left astonished. Had she just seen a ghost, she wondered to herself.
"Avery are you there" Evangeline searching for her wolf.
"I'm here but, that dosage of wolf's ban almost killed us." Avery said with a weak voice within Evangeline.
"Did you see what I saw?" Evangeline asked her
"Yea I saw it too."
