Later that night, Cynthia woke up to the sound of knocking on her bedroom door. She sprung out of bed quickly, worried something had happened to the boys.
At the door stood Justin with his phone in hand. “Mommy, Uncle Parker wants to speak with you.”
Cynthia looked at the phone in confusion. Why was Parker looking for her in the dead of the night? She took the call.

“Sorry for bothering you so late,” he apologised. “I need a favour.”

“Yes. Alpha Kane is in trouble at your parents’ house. They won't allow me in, but they can't keep you out.”
