“How does that concern you?” Cynthia asked.
“Why are you being so secretive about it?” He shot back.
Cynthia shrugged. “It’s my private life. I’m not obliged to tell you.”
He narrowed his eyes. “Are you two even together? Your daughter doesn’t look anything like him.”
“Whether she does or not has nothing to do with you,” Cynthia emphasized.
“You have never used inhibitors before,” Kane said. “If you had been with an Alpha like him, I would have known.”
