“The ship will arrive in a couple of hours,” Aurelia replied. “But there’s one more thing you must do if you want to leave tonight.”
“What is it?” Sheila asked anxiously. Aurelia was giving her a way out of the country. Once she got onto the ship, neither Cynthia, the Rens, nor the Radcliffes would ever find her. She had to leave before they found out that she was out of jail.
“Good job on getting the kid,” Aurelia said, “but what am I supposed to do with her now?”
