Kane sensed her before she stepped in front of him. “What do you want?”
His cold words made her scoff. “What do I want? What do you mean by that?”
Kane did not look at her, he focused on filling a platter with snacks and fruits. “Exactly that.”
Aurelia huffed. “What’s wrong with you? Have you been bewitched by that woman? Is she the one who asked you to humiliate me in front of the reporters?”
“You are the one who humiliated yourself by telling lies,” Kane told her. “I don’t see what that has to do with anyone else.”
