Eva's pov:

I jolted awake from my bed feeling my sweats on my face and hands. I covered my face trying to calm my breath. I hadn't had a nightmare like this before. The man's voice was familiar, but it wasn't my father. I couldn't see his face. It was foggy.

I looked beside me to see Brian looking at me worried. I looked at the clock beside my bed, and it read 7:00 pm.

"Eva, are you alright?"

I nodded my head and removed the sweat from my face.

"Did you have a nightmare?"
