My External Love

chapter eleven:

( At an known location, inside a magnificent mansion, in a beautifully made and furnished room, a lady is present in it)

UNKNOWN POV:

: I stood staring out the window with my hands on the window frame, my beloved seems to be staying out longer each day now, I sighed softly, recently I've been missing him more than ever, I don't know why but maybe it's due to my current condition, I wonder how Lama's doing, the farm, our old storehouse and everybody, staying at home all day is quite tiring though I do go out at times but am still not too used to being like this, I guess Flo was right about loving it and meeting the reward later on, I smiled inwardly, it seems time flies quickly around this season but I still get impatient day by day, am like ' just come out already', I said inwardly and lifted my hands up in agreement, just what am I doing? I asked myself inwardly and laughed out, I loved it and wanted more and here I am now with the reward right inside me, I chuckled, I was still lost in my own thoughts when the room door flew open, gaining my attention and I turned, only to see my maid ‘ Daisy ’ walk in.

Maid Daisy: “ ma!, Godfather is here! " She said bowing way too hard as if her head could come off at any time, I couldn't help it but giggle at her display, she's such a scared cat and quite a showoff too, I raised up my left hand to signal to her that she can go before turning my face and attention back to the view.

( At the sitting room of the magnificent mansion which is as beautiful as it can be, right there was a man in his early 60s in a well made black suit with white glasses, hairs and beards, black shining shoe and an old and weird kind of hand clock and with a hat covering his calm looking face sat majestically on the soft comfy couches)

Woman's voice: “ Lord Babbon! To what do I owe this surprise visit for and mind I say you look quite mighty and a bit younger today!" I said while walking down the stairs leading to the sitting room.

Lord Babbon: “ ha! Lady Lucy, you never seem to stop hyping me, hope I didn't disturb you especially now that the junior Lord is getting bigger by the day and you do look dazzling in that magnificent black outfit, I must say our Lord is doing quite well with it".

Lady Lucy: ( laughs calmly ) “ oh please don't flatter me, it's been so long since we last met you know! " I said while taking my seat opposite his.

Lord Babbon: " yes yes yes it's been a long time but I see you are doing well my lady, it's as if this was made specially for you" I responded.

Lady Lucy: ( smiling at the compliment ) “ thanks allot but am quite tired of it now, it's quite disturbing " I said sighing, then I placed my right hand on it, giving it a gentle rob.

Lord Babbon: “ hmm! " I cleared my throat, “ am afraid I got pressing matters my lady" I said seriously and she sat up straight looking at me, am sure she knows am serious now............

( Few minutes after their meeting)

Lady Lucy: I climbed up the stairs as quickly as possible, finally!, I can't believe am alive to see and be a part of this, if possible I should have my husband alerted now, I dashed through the door heading to the dull, old looking and unkept dresser, " ooow! " I opened the first drawer of the dressing table, it sounds quite weird and am sure it's more than a thousand years old, I took out a dusty old looking book in it and blew away the dust particles at the surface, it's carvings and words were dull and fading but at least it's still intact, " finally! It's happening now " I sighed out in amazement......

( In a cabin located at the edge of a hill in the middle of the forest, in an old but well kept room, on the bed in the room, laid Lillian )

Lillian: I tried opening my eyes slowly, I felt my muscles weak and in need of rest, I groan from weakness but managed to get up slowly and steadily, I sat up on the bed, rubbed my sleeping eyes to observe my environment, the place was a bit dark due to the location I guess but it had holes on the wooden wall in which light rays passes through, the small room had some furniture around and a few other things in it occupying space, I could clearly see some boxes filled with clothes in it but I could hardly see its colors or materials, as I continue to gaze at the room, the door suddenly flew open and my eyes and attention drifted to it, a matured woman likely in her golden age stood at the entrance, her eyes met mine and she smiled warmly upon seeing me awake I guess, she enters and closed the door, the she walked towards the bed but stopped after a few steps forward and looked up at me with a warm sweet smile placed on her face,

“ hello dear, I can see you are awake and that's a good thing, it means you are recovering just fine, pls don't be scared or afraid, am simply here to tend to your wounds and treat you okay, so please be at rest and calmly feel at home for the mean time dear, my name is Josefina but you can call me what you like and feel comfortable with, do you have any needs or wants I could help with dear!? ”

She finished saying and I was a bit relaxed afterwards, she really did calm my nerves there, she had on a nurse maid uniform and a small white cloth covering her black hair, her eyes were black and her lips small, her nose was average and she had a fair completion, with her looks, am sure she's not a slave but a maid nurse, I looked at her matured yet calm face and her voice warm and soothing, “ why am I here, what happened and what is going on? " I ask quickly as if afraid she might run away or disappear, I needed answers now than ever.

Maid Josefina: ( chuckles inwardly) “ hmm” I smiled at her again, such innocent child, “ is that all? " I asked, she nodded and I replied “ don't worry too much dear, you are here for your treatment and soon enough you will leave when you get well, someone brought you here and promised to come back later, so worry not my dear but be patient and heal quickly, now now! It's time to go back to sleep my dear, you will need it for quick recovery especially for your head wound, come on now, off to sleep you go” ( walks closer to Lillian ).

Lillian: I really wanted to protest but my head was still pounding and boy was her hands so soft, warm and comfy in a way, her gesture to put me to bed reminded me of mom and my grandma when I was still little, they would always tossed me in at night like this, they would cover me up with the duvet and made sure my pillow and bed was soft and comfortable enough for me and my head, I knew this with grandmother and dad told me mom did it to me too and now her, I saw her sweet smiling face while tossing me In to sleep before my eyes became heavy and I soon drifted off to dream land.

Maid Josefina: ( says softly in a low voice ) rest well my dear, tomorrow is another day " I adjusted the duvet well on her, how I hope master comes back soon, he has waited long enough, I said inwardly, I took my towel and bowl, then I left her room.

(At the main sitting room of the old wooden building, a fire place was present along with other furniture like two old but clean couches, a center wooden table, some hanged instruments on the wall, some picture frames and two windows on each sides of the room and a little space were the dinning table and chairs were kept, the entrance door was also at the left hand side of the room, just few minutes after Josefina walked in from the stairs leading up to Lillian's room, the door of the living room suddenly flew open and a shadowing figure walks in all in a black coat.)

Maid Josefina: “ so how are things back at home, has the master been informed yet, you know we can't keep her here for long and am running out of supplies”

Shadowing Figure( in a cold, chilly voice): “ not yet, we need to ensure master's safety first, I thank you for your help so far but please just give us a little more longer, all will soon be well and about your supplies, I can ask D lady for assistance, so don't worry, they won't come for her, at least not for the now!

( The shadowing figure said this and rushed out like smoke, disappearing into space with no trace and the door shut closed immediately with not even a “pee" of a sound, it was as if the wind that had it closed was controlled)

Maid Josefina: “ha!” I sighed inwardly, “ let's hope and wait then ” I said, took a cutlass hanging on the wooden wall, wore my boots and gloves on, then I open the door to go out, we will need fire for the night so i have to get the woods now and I have to be fast before my sleeping beauty awake, who knows how long it will last, I got ready, then I open the door, walk out, shut the door and left.
