My External Love

chapter seven:

Miranda: ( standing outside senior Lord's door a bit scared) “ ha” (sighs) I will have to lie again and it's all because of that girl, taking in a deep breath, I open the door and walked in, dad was sitting on his couch relaxing.

Uncle Jeremy: “ oh my dear daughter, do come sit, you are welcomed”

Miranda: I took a seat opposite his and waited for him to drop the bomb.

Uncle Jeremy: I studied her for a second because she looked kinda nervous but that's not why I called, “ so as you can see, I already informed Lillian about Michelle and they both have meant each other, now back to the main deal, Duke Maro have agreed to handover the land at the oin's hill to me in exchange but I have to be sure first which leads me to why I sent for you, Miranda just how sure are you that that land has black gold and essential minerals material? ”

Miranda: he finally dropped the bomb and I have to think of something fast, “ am very sure dad, I made a lot of research on it before now” I said trying to be firm but he wasn't buying it, so I had to add more, “ you can even ask our contractors and mine extractors, they will confirm my words, I said as assuring as I could. After answering all dad's questions and partially clearing his doubt, I finally left there and head to my room, “ boom!!” I shut my room's door hard behind me, “ ha!!” I screamed out in anger, just why do I have to go this far, both mom and I have been lying from the start to dad, there's no gold or riches on that land, am not even sure it's safe there but we planned all of this to get rid of that witch once and for all, she's just too perfect for me to bear it all, she gets all the praises and all others and I was never this jealous of her, not until she attracts the prince's attention when the family attended the last Nobles ball recently, even I couldn't get the prince's attention for a long time but she did without even sweating, I hate lying, I hate all this and I hate her.

Lady Mina: I looked at his picture this time and I couldn't stop myself from breaking down again, I held his picture In my hand and placed it close to my chest, I had and will always love him, I was glad when she died in that accident even though her body was never found but disappointed when her daughter came to, If only she had died along with her mother, then I would have had you all to myself, I sobbed gently with my chest moving up and down in harmony with my breathing, being born to a noble family with power, wealth and all that is nice but there's always one thing thats always missing and that's the most important of them all, that's LOVE and unity, my family never had that, it was more like a business building filled with strangers than a family house, we had everything but that, I wanted to feel loved and be able to love, not to hear and know about it, I wanted to be the first to have and experience love but I wasn't able to get it, now am living just like how my mom and dad lived, I can't love my kids because I don't love their father or had ever been loved once, I see failure when I see them all, don't get me wrong, they are my family but in my heart, they're just close people living in the same house with me, it all started long ago!

Lady Mina as a child then had wondered off to her mother's room as usual to hear stories and fairy tales, on getting close, she heard her dad's voice few steps away from her mom's room, it's not the first time his yelling at her mother but something was different about it, “ you stupid woman, how can you sit down and talk about it all so casually, I spent millions of gold coins on this masterpiece only to have an i***t like you ruin it all, you better fix this or else! ” he yelled, pushed the door open and stormed off not minding little Mina's calling.

Little Lady Mina: upon entering the room, she said “ mommy, are you okay” but the Duchess couldn't say a thing but only wipe and sob continuously.

It all went from worse to hell as time goes on till eventually the Duchess died of heart attack.

Ever since then, Lady Mina had owed to find love, feel it and give it but it wasn't easy, seeing as all the noble men were no different from her or worse, she was introduced to this family by her father and there's were she met Lucas, she discovered that of all the men she had met, he was different, special and unique, he stood out from the crowd and fills up his surroundings with love, Lady Mina knew he was the one to make that her dream come through, she tried getting close to him but he was not that easy to get to, to worse things up, he came back with a stranger and chatted Mina's hope, she had married Jeremy in hopes of getting him back but even after his wife's death, his attention was drawn to his daughter, he never mind her or look her way despite all her efforts, “ why me!! Why her!?” she continues to sob.
