(The night before the D Day)
Lillian : I'm turning and rolling on my bed feeling restless with my mind disturbed, normal brides would be happy and overjoyed about their wedding but here I am scared like a cat looking at water, I wonder how tomorrow's going to be for me, is it doing to be my end or beginning, “ ha ” I sigh, I lay face up staring at nothing but my mind refused to end this endless thoughts, I got up from the bed on my silky night gown, I can see my reflection on the mirror and am looking so pale and unkept, I haven't been able to sleep for days now and my appetite is as that of a child, am glad I don't have bags under my eyes but am sure to have one tomorrow if I don't sleep well tonight, I walked to the window and looked out, the whole field was decorated and the atmosphere was cool along with the lovely singing of the birds and the back and forth movement of the trees, they all moved in harmony with the shining silver moon, nature is simply magnificent in it's own way, I placed my hands on the wooden frame of the window and looked at the moon, for a moment there I felt it calling out to me, telling me of all the good that awaits me, that my destiny lies beyond just being a noble or a wife, a smile crossed my face despite my aching heart and I just closed my eyes and inhaled it's cool air, I said a quite wish and prayer deep down from my heart and I could feel something spark within.
( In Lord Lucas chamber)
Lord Lucas : I'm seating on my soft couch sipping my favorite wine from a glass cup, with the glass on one hand and my wife's picture on the other hand and my thoughts elsewhere, I had no lamb to see with in the room but the room was illuminated by the moon's light, tonight's moon was shining like the sun, it's as if it's day time and it's as if there's something off about tonight's moon that isn't quite clear, I stare at the moon through the window for some seconds before I remembered something then............
( Flashback to a time when Lillian's mom was alive)
My wife and I laid on our bed cuddling each other and looking out through the window, we were about to retire for the night, just then the moon appeared in the night sky shining brightly, we both stared at it and I moved my head closer to my beloved and whispered in her ear “ we will see many more moon like this my dear, I promise to always cuddle you up like this always” I said then bit the tip of her earlobe making her giggle and smile, “ My love do you believe in miracles, just take a little faith and feel the supernatural at your call and the moon will then stand by you” she said and I replied saying “ I don't need the moon, I have you and our little princess so nothing else matters ” she smiled the more and continued “ I am the moon, when you feel lonely, talk to the moon and it will hear and seek out to me and by it's light I shall find you”. ( End of flashback)
( Back to the present)
Lord Lucas : To be honest I didn't get to understand what she meant, most of the things she said back then were in riddles, she didn't speak normally nor did she know most simple words, it took me time to understand or know what she says at times, I looked at the moon, feeling it's bright glory with a warm sense of hope and I said my heart out “ dear beloved, help our daughter at this cruel hour ” I said feeling all tired and stressed out, as I relaxed my body, I was then taken to dream land immediately.
( The D Day, inside the wedding hall)
Michelle : I'm standing at the wedding hall, chatting with some noble ladies while we wait for the ceremony to start, I loved the way I looked in my wedding suit, it was a black suit with black pants and lovely black shoes which is very comfy, my hair was styled with jell and made to sleep backwards, I had a pair of glasses like that of professors but I had them removed when Lillian's maid told me Lillian doesn't like them, the guests around compliments me on my outfit and am quite loving the attention am getting from everyone, I'm also trying hard to act orderly and well today......
“ you're quite handsome in that suit Michelle”
One of the noble ladies said to me, I smiled sweetly and replied “ of course my lady, it's My lucky day after all” I raised my eye brows and smirked, they got what the smirk was meant for and laughed out.
( At lady Lillian's room)
Lillian : I'm currently getting ready for my so called wedding and my body is aching all over and I have been standing for more than an hour now, a noble's wedding is like that of a royal wedding with all the unnecessary standing, party, heavy ball gowns and accessories, my neck was hurting from all the heavy beads and jewels on the earrings and necklace, my hands itching from the net gloves and my stomach pressed due to how tight the gown was, even my waist and legs wasn't left out, I had both hands stretched out while standing on a stool as several maids worked on my dress, I had a thick veil on my head covering my face,“ boom ” the door flew open and it was my father at the door, I smiled despite my sadness, I have never felt so much relief and happiness in my life before, I let out a sigh of relief at that moment, the maids stopped what they were doing and bowed, my dad nod at them and demonstrated with his hand to them to leave and they got the message and quietly left the room, leaving just me and dad there, I climbed down from the stool and looked at my father in the eye, I don't know why but the look on his face tells me that something is up.
( Back at the wedding hall)
Lord Jeremy: my legs moved up and down impatiently while I sat, I was beginning to worry and the tension everywhere was increasing, it's been a few minutes now and the bride is yet to appear, let alone walk down the hall, the groom has been standing for sometime now and I know that with time it's going to alert the guest if she doesn't show up, I hate when my precious time is wasted, God help Lucas that he didn't do anything behind me to ruin this day, if not then hell shall rain today, I couldn't wait any longer so I stood up, marched out of the hall and head towards the brides dressing room, luckily for them, I saw Lucas and Lillian approaching from afar hand in hand, I stopped in my tracks and thank their lucky stars for them, I was about to let lose hell on them before, I turned and head back to the hall, when inside the hall, I smiled at the guest, assuring them that the bride will soon arrive, then I sat on my seat waiting for them to enter the hall so that the event can start properly.
