Both Jim and Jaime were privately convinced a series of murders was being committed by a “gang.” Jaime had a hard time being convinced the “g**g” consisted of cops and would not believe it until he had more proof. But he was considering the idea as one of the possibilities. He also thought it could be a group of older men whose disgust with crime had reached a pinnacle somehow.
