The first deputy from the MCSO to arrive was inexperienced and a little arrogant. He said to himself it was probably some old geezer that lived nearby who had wandered out into the desert and died. He called for a coroner's team but didn't tell them much. They were several hours getting to the scene. By the time they arrived the only thing left of the body was the layer of skin underneath the clothing on the back. The bones were badly scattered around the area as a result of the Coyotes feasting.
