“Can you tell if she was beaten with any specific type of implement,” Josie asked.
“No the bruising is too unspecific to speculate about the type of instrument. Much of it is just beginning to show, I think, or would be just beginning to show if she were alive. But boy she was savagely beaten. I wonder, would tend to think she was probably unconscious when she was brought here, then she was cut here on the spot where she lays. Some of the bruising might be from kicks. It looks like she might have been kicked in the ribs repeatedly.”
