I held Ciara in my arms for what felt like an eternity. She has suffered so much by the hands of bad people, and it seems she is still suffering. Thinking over what I have learned, I start putting the pieces together. Ciara not going to Hazel’s celebration, never seeing her at the festival events, her training grounds away from the rest of the pack, Maximo saying there aren’t any female warriors, the Meadow Lake attack missing details, Beta Leon saying he doesn’t have a daughter… It all makes sense now why she is always saying ‘it’s a long story.’ Her Alpha is keeping her hidden, but why?
