MIA Leon, his father, and my mother looked at Luis, Liam, and me after we gasped. “Mia, I know you might be afraid of the triplets, but they’ll treat you nicely,” Mom said, holding hands with Alpha David. Luis and Liam stood up, abandoning their meals. “Excuse us, Dad. We’d like to have a word with Leon.” Their father scowled. “Finish your meals first. Your stepmother-to-be put in a lot of effort to prepare this. Sit back and finish it.” Luis and Liam sat back, their expressions frosty, and my mother looked at them with concern. “It’s okay, babe. You can let the boys chat,” Mom said, her voice sweet, but Alpha David shook his head. “No. I know these two rascals. They want to confuse Leon into not accepting you as his stepmother.” Mom laughed, and I laughed too, understanding their father knew what his sons were up to. “Fine, Dad. We’ll finish the food,” Luis said, before sitting next to me. I tensed as his left hand brushed against my right thigh, and he pinched me. “Ouch!” I groaned, and everyone—except Luis—looked at me in concern. “What’s the matter, Mia?” Mom asked, standing up quickly as if she feared something had happened to me. “Mom, Luis pinched me!” I pointed at him, and his father frowned. “Is that true, Luis?” Alpha David asked. Luis shrugged. “She was rejoicing at our expense. I only punished her.” “Apologize,” Alpha David stated, his voice cold. Luis frowned. “Father…” he began to protest. “Now!” Alpha David was serious. Luis turned to face me, his eyes narrowed, his thin lips mumbling, “I’m sorry, Mia. Happy now?” “Mmm,” I pouted, and my mother smiled before sitting back beside Alpha David. “The wedding will be next Saturday. No more excuses, and the four of you will learn to get along,” Alpha David stated, his voice firm, leaving no room for negotiation. Mom looked at me with concern, and I smiled. “Don’t worry, Mom. I accept. After all, the Triple Ls won’t bully me again if Alpha David protects me.” The triplets frowned and looked away. “You’re right, Mia. If any of my sons offend you, report them to me, and I’ll have them punished. You’re my daughter now, and I’ll treat you with all the privileges of a princess. I know your father is still alive, but I’m not going to take his love from you. I’ll only fill his absence in your mother’s life here in the White Hills Pack. Alright?” “Okay, Alpha. It’s nice to have you as my new dad,” I replied. Leon kicked my left leg under the table. I didn’t react. Instead, I smirked at him, knowing they respected their father and wouldn’t dare hurt me. After dinner, Alpha David stood up to use the restroom. “Come and show me to your room, my love. I’d like to spend the night here. Leon, you three can go back home if you don’t like it here. I’ve had a hectic day at the office, and I can’t wait for you all to graduate so I can spend more time with Lucy.” He pulled my mother close and kissed her cheek. Mom blushed and looked at me to see if I was worried. “It’s fine, Mom. I like Alpha David. He’s so nice. I see why you like him—he’s just like Dad,” I said. The mood in the living room shifted at the mention of my father. I knew my father hadn’t remarried. He was just doing his research and had promised Mom he’d be back, but it had been too long. “Don’t worry, Mia. I’m not going to take Rafael’s place in your life, but I swear to treat your mother better,” Alpha David stated, his voice calm and full of respect for my mother as he crossed his arms over her shoulder. “Alright, Alpha. Goodnight,” I responded. Alpha David smiled while my mother led him upstairs. I was left in the dining room with the three boys. “Mia, right?” Luis said as he marched toward me. “I see you’re happy to have our father as your new stepdad.” I moved back against the wall and glared at him. “If you dare come any closer, I’ll scream and report you to your father.” Luis laughed, while the others remained silent. “Let her be, Luis. She doesn’t know she belongs to us. She’s clueless,” Leon said, his gaze lowered as he sat back in his dining chair and pulled out his phone. I looked at him in shock. “I cannot belong to you all. Get that mindset out of your damn brains. If you think I’ll ever kneel, bow to you three, or worship your dîcks. You’re dreaming!” I yelled. They looked stunned. I marched to the dining table to clear it, while the three of them watched me. “Mia, what if you end up doing that—and not just kneeling and worshiping our dîcks, but sucking it too and taking it in your cụnt” Liam replied ruthlessly, and my face turned red. “Fụck you all! But I will never do that! I will not be your woman. You all will be my stepbrothers. So get those silly thoughts of me sleeping with you three, like those gullible girls at the academy, out of your brains!” I yelled and cleared the table. “Mia, what’s wrong?” Mom appeared at the top of the stairs and asked. “Nothing, Mom,” I replied, looking at her face and smiling. “We’re just discussing academy stuff.” “Alright. Just keep your voice down and show the Triple Ls to the guest rooms if they want to sleep here tonight. Goodnight, boys, and don’t do anything silly to your little sister. She can be mean, but trust me, Mia is a sweet girl.” Her voice was sweet, and the Triple Ls looked at me. “It’s okay, Chairwoman. We’ll take care of Mia and not trouble her,” Leon said while Mom giggled and wished them goodnight. “Be a good girl, Mia, and return to your room after showing them to the guest room. Okay?” “Okay, Mom.” I forced a tight smile as my mother went upstairs. I cleared the plates to the kitchen and washed them, trying to waste time and avoid conversation with the boys. However, I could hear their deep voices in the dining room. “Mia is our mate, Leon. How can you accept our father marrying her mother? Dad won’t approve of us being with her. The sooner we stop Dad from marrying her mother, the sooner we can have her and mark her,” Luis said, his voice sharp and deep, making me shiver in the kitchen. *What did they mean by “mate”? Marking me? And how do I belong to them?* I craned my ear further and heard Liam’s cold response: “Luis is right, big brother. We can’t accept Mia as our stepsister. She has to bear our pups. She knows nothing about our kind, and the sooner we stop that wedding, the sooner we can have her under us.” The sponge fell from my hands as I staggered, trying to understand what Liam and Luis meant by *having me under them*. I waited to hear Leon’s response. “She’s listening to us. She doesn’t like us, and we have to start by making her fall in love with us. That way, we can get her not to reject us and to bear our pups.” “*No way!* What? I will *never* be your slave nor bear your pups. Got it!” I jumped out of the kitchen and confronted them. They frowned. “We’re not in a hurry, Mia,” Leon finally smiled. “When you turn eighteen, you’ll be the one begging for our cọcks. Show us to the guest room, little sister.”
