Mia's POV:
"Mia, are you busy?" Mom's voice cut through the air as I was in my room, through with packing my bag to accompany her to Alpha David's mansion after the wedding was over.
"Yeah, Mom. I am coming!" I hurried out of the closet and dashed to the bedroom door. My hand reached for the handle and I swung it open.
Mom stood there with a grin on her pretty, fair face. "What were you up to?" She asked, her nose perked up with curiosity as her eyes wandered to mine.
"Nothing. How about Alpha David? Has he left our home?" I asked, standing aside at the door as I made way for my mother to stroll into my room.
"Yeah. David already left for the Oscar group," Mom said softly as she walked into my room and plopped down on my room's couch.
