"What is wrong?" I asked Vivian. Though she sounded happy, I couldn't help but ponder why she was excited.
"There is going to be a masquerade ball tonight. I am so happy about it," Vivian said, and I rolled my eyes at her.
"Tonight? I didn't hear about that from anywhere," I said, a flicker of surprise crossing my features.
"Oops. Not tonight, but tomorrow night. I forgot to tell you, but you know that my Dad works for Alpha David Oscar as his delta commander. Anyway, the bachelors' and bridals' party is open to all singles in the pack who are looking forward to finding their mates.
