Leon's POV:
Due to the unexpected rogue attacks at our pack borders the previous night, where some shops were vandalized and the rogues stole from many of our pack members-most especially the market women and store owners-my brothers and I were busy. We ensured that the warriors were dispersed to secure the pack borders and maintain maximum security. We didn't have time to check on Mia either, as we were caught up in other duties.
Initially, we chose to avoid her because the closer her 18th birthday got, the more we could smell her intoxicating vanilla scent, hear her heartbeat, and sense her arousal. We could even pry into her mind and mind-link her, but we hadn't done that yet.
I had warned my brothers to keep their distance from Mia because she was getting ready to reject us.
