(Mia's POV)
When Mom and I reached downstairs, Alpha David was seated at the dining room table, dressed in his white shirt and black trousers, and he seemed ready to leave the house.
He wasn't living with us, but he had arrived to spend the night with Mom.
The thought of my mother's pregnancy rang in my head. Smiling, I greeted Alpha David politely since he was nice to my mother.
"Good morning, Alpha," I greeted him, my voice soft, and he smiled.
"Morning, Mia. How was your night?" Alpha David asked. Something in the way he peered at me made me uncomfortable, but I didn't want to think too much about it.
As I approached the dining table, I sat across from Alpha David in the first chair that Liam used to sit in when he came over to join us for dinner.
