When I saw Liam and Luis walking up to me, I shrank back to run away; however, I collided with my elder brother behind me.
My heart was racing, fearing that the Triple L wanted to discipline me in front of the multitude of students at this Academy, but seeing my older brother brought me relief. He held me possessively, hiding me behind his back, and he faced Liam and Luis.
"I will talk to Veronica. You guys don't have to humiliate her publicly because of a small misunderstanding," Godwin said, his voice stern as he peered at Liam and Luis.
"You should warn her to keep off from Mia. The next time Veronica does something like this again, not even you or Leon will plead with us on her behalf," Liam warned, his voice furious, and I trembled at the ferocity of his tone.
