Breathing out heavily, I steadied my steps and walked ahead to my father's house door to enter inside.
I didn't know why I wasn't so comfortable whenever Triple L was around.
As I walked into the living room to return to my room on the top floor, Alpha David sat at the dining chair alone, as Mom was in the kitchen, cleaning it up.
I stilled, as I wasn't expecting to run into Alpha David.
"Is anything the matter, Mia?" Alpha David asked, his eyes watching me intensely, trying to see through my soul.
"No, sir. I am fine," I spluttered, uncomfortable around him.
