At one PM, the courtroom reconvened for the final time before deliberations. The gallery was packed, and every seat was filled with Journalists, court watchers, and supporters of both sides, who wanted to witness the closing arguments. This was it. The last chance for the attorneys to sway the jury before they retired to decide Victoria Mitchell's fate. Aria sat in the front row beside Damien, her hands folded tightly in her lap. Her heart hammered against her ribs, and everything came down to this two lawyers summarizing weeks of testimony, and asking twelve strangers to decide if Victoria would pay for what she'd done. Victoria sat at the defense table looking smaller than ever, her shoulders hunched over, and her face pale. She hadn't looked at Aria once since court resumed. Judge F
