So Sally went by the restaurant to resume her work which had been cut off so rudely three months ago. Tanya, Blake, and Alex, together with the other workers at the restaurant greeted her cheerfully, even though she had worked for only two days here before and they barely knew her. They crowded around her and peppered her with questions about her recovery and how well she was faring in San Diego. Even though she had only known them for a few days, they already felt like family and Sally was grateful for that fact.
