Sally opened her eyes to see that it was already daybreak. Something had woken her up, but she was not sure what it was. She was about to close her eyes and go back to sleep when there was a knock at her room door, and she knew that it was the knock that had woken her up in the first place.
"Come in." She said sleepily.
Jake walked into the room and looked her over where she was lying in bed, all comfortable, then shook his head indulgently.
"I thought you've been the one clamoring to get Dr. Hope to declare you hale and hearty. How come you're still asleep today of all days when she is probably going to give you the go-ahead to work?"
