Chapter Six

Michelle noticed this was the first time they spoke about him and it was just his business.Michelle wanted to know more about him personally but it didn't look like he was going to talk about it. After there dinner he took her out on a walk. They walked the street. it was late and people were hardly seen. she had insisted on a walk.

" why did you wanna take walk?" he asked

she shrugged

" The wind is nice and the night is beautiful. Just wanted to enjoy it." she replied

"You love taking night walks, don't you?" She smiled turning away. She noticed something about him. He read her like a book but knew to hide himself. But most times she noticed he'd let his guard down. There was something about him. It was not quite clear but it seemed dangerous and it attracted her to him. if only he was willing to share.

" Back at the restaurant you said you were eager to be independent, why?"

she asked. He looked startled but recoverd quickly.He wasn't expecting her to ask. He sighed

" I grew up with two older brothers and a very strict father.My mom died after she gave birth to me and seemed my family blamed me for it. They would have given me up but I think my father felt like it was his obligation to my mother. I was an abstract and an obstacle to them. My father expected perfection and I was the one with all the bad luck. No matter what I did I was never on his good side. I never could make him proud so I pushed myself just so as to get his approval but till this point I don't think I can get it."

She felt sorry for him . Here she thought her life was worse..No wonder he understood. She took his face on her hands making him to look into her eyes

" You don't have to push yourself for anyone Zed. if they can't see your efforts and love they aren't worth it. You don't need anyone to approve of you.Your perfect and I'm glad to be your friend. The only thoughts of you that matter are yours." she said smiling softly at him

For the first time,he felt loved and wanted.He saw the care in her eyes.And before he knew it he was kissing her.His arms wrapped around her waist.He half expected a hard slap across his face but to his surprise she kissed him back. it was fierce and longing. it seemed like forever when they finally broke the kiss,they were breathless.

"Wow, I wasn't expecting that?" he said

She was blushing her cheeks very red

They walked in silence till they reached her lodge

"Thanks for the night Zed, I had fun"

"by fun, you mean the kiss" he joked.

"Goodnight short cake" he said and gave her a quick kiss on the lips before leaving." goodnight" she whispered and entered inside.

She couldn't sleep at all, her mind kept wandering back to the kiss. It felt like a dream but she knew it was real. She thought more of it. She wondered if he was so good at kissing how would it be if he made love to her. She squealed.

she was thinking to far.'oh gosh, what am I doing ' she thought. He was handsome and all but she didn't think she was his type

Tomorrow,classes are gonna begin. she forced herself to sleep.

He had just arrived at his place. He needed a shower.He went straight to his bedroom. He pulled if his clothes and entered the bathroom,as the hot water ran down his body he relaxed. His mind going back to the events of the night. Of course hw always thought about her but this time was different,her lips tasted like strawberry,they were soft and if not careful you could get lost. He always admired her beauty. Every time he saw her,he felt he was seeing her for the first time.she was so beautiful and she didn't even try at all. And her curves could make a man go crazy. She was perfect in all the right places. He felt himself twitching,he shook his head in the shower and rinsed himself.He returned to his room and dressed for bed,but couldn't sleep.she was stuck in his head and thoughts of her distracted him a lot. And he stamped it there. He was gonna make her his. No matter, but first he needed to make sure nothing would happen.
