The week after Thanksgiving is always a hectic time. A lot of our clients are about to leave the country for the holidays, and most of them want a financial health check before jetting off. We also have several pending mergers and buyouts that I want to be completed by the end of the year. The business has been excellent while I was our overseas expanding offices, but I can tell that they missed the brutal force which I bring to negotiations. I manage to sign off on three lucrative deals and have my team push for two more. My father and uncle are thrilled that I’m back and Charles has even made overtures about moving me into his office, while he takes a smaller space.
