The silence between them was deafening.
Aarav stood there, waiting—hoping.
Meera stood there, hesitating—fearing.

It was about trust. About surrender. About choosing to fall, even when you weren’t sure if someone would catch you.
And Meera had never been good at falling.

That night, she lay in bed, staring at the ceiling.
Her heart felt restless, her mind replaying every word Aarav had said.
"I’d rather take that risk than live a life wondering what could have been."
What if she was making a mistake?
What if she lost him because of her own fears?
Her phone buzzed.
A message from Aarav.
"I won’t force you, Meera. But I won’t wait forever either."
Her fingers trembled as she held the phone, her chest tightening.
She wanted to reply.
She wanted to tell him she wasn’t running away—that she just needed to be sure.
But she wasn’t sure.
Not yet.
And so, she said nothing.
