Six months later. Allen Technology had been renamed "Dawnlight Technology." I sold my fifty-one percent stake, keeping only a symbolic ten percent. The money I cashed out, plus the assets from the divorce, was enough for Annie and me to live comfortably for the rest of our lives. But I didn't choose to rest on my laurels. With that money, I partnered with Diana to start a women's entrepreneurship incubator, dedicated to helping women who had faced setbacks in marriage or career get back on their feet. On opening day, many people came. There were old classmates, former company colleagues, and women I had never met before who had been inspired by my story. Diana gave a speech as my partner. At the end, she said, "I'd like to invite our other founder, Ms. Helen Gray, to say a few words.
