Alone

John P.O.V

My men came back and looked sorry. I couldn’t even hide my anger.

“Why’d you abandoned the plan!?” I Screamed.

“We are sorry sir, she just looked like she was threatening you, and did not believe it you eaither.” One of the guards said.

I believe his name was Joey, or is it John,why’d I recruit two people with names so close, I wondered.

“Joey,”

“Yes sir?”

“You need to find her NOW! I’m putting everything at risk by trusting you. Do you understand?”

I could see the shock in his face. I feel like he’s starting to doubt me.

“Yes sir.” Joey replied.

“That goes for all of you.”

They all nodded their heads. They left and went out the door in hopes that they can find Krystal and bring her back. I ratherly anger walked to my room, and collapsed on my bed. I felt angry with the entire world, even if it wasn’t its fault.

I decided I’d have to rely my plan agin later, it until then, I’d continue looking for Krystal.

“Krystal!” I yelled. I was shaking with anger now. I needed to be first in command. I couldn’t believe that Krystal. kept getting away from me.

Knock, knock.

I sighed as got up to answer my door.

“Hello Kate, I mean Commander.”

“I heard you let her get away again.”

She shakes her head with disappointment.

“And it was such a good plan.”

I looked away and couldn’t look back. I knew I did let her go and I was doing everything I could to try and get her back.

“You have one more chance, other wise your being moved down and someone else will take your spot.”

I was puzzled.

“Who?” I asked.

I’m not expecting her to answer. She smiles.

“Dylan will take it”

I gasped. Dylan. Why him? I wondered then I realize I haven’t seen him since I failed the mission.

“Where is he anyway?” I asked.

“I made him a spy.” She says. “He’s been a spy for a while now, so when you asked him to be part of your plan, I decided to put him in with Krystal. That’s why he left you.”

I felt shocked.

Kate continues,

“I told him to somehow get Krystal, to trust him and to rescue her if your plan fails. Well I made it seem like a rescue, but in reality he’s just trying to get information on her and her whereabouts.”

I gasp, curious if he told them to shoot her so he could do his job and so my plan failed. I felt angry why would my own betray me. I felt kinda proud that he was brave enough to do so, but then I realized I’d lied about her and he’d soon realize that she’s not as bad as I made her seem.

Great. I thought.
