Clancy and Lucille had done their job and had even gotten started on their own little celebration. Down at the diner, the two held court with the most important news to hit the little town in decades. Word spread like wildfire, and pretty soon, the news was reaching the right ears. In all fairness, the two elderly people hadn't given much thought to who was going to be put out by the news. They were just happy that two of their favorite young people were finally happy.
