Curious elvish children gather on the sides of the paved highways leading to the palace as the procession of human carriages and foot soldiers pass. While the humans marvel at the sheer opulence of the city, the pointy eared children look astounded by their rugged looks and rowdy march. The palace building is made of gleaming stone and shaped like a shiny egg. Several elvish officials, including king Tolis's assistant, Lahore Vagner, stand in front of one of the entrances, ready to receive their King. The long caravan slows down as King Tolis's carriage halts in front of the waiting officials. They bow their heads in respect when Tolis exits his carriage.
