While the werewolf world had always been more brutal and bloody than the human world, the title of slave hadn't been forced on anyone for five long generations in Adrian's pack.
We'd all been taught of their existence, as we had learned about the pack growing up. But it had been used more as a scare tactic than an actual threat.
Being forced to become a slave for the pack was the ultimate punishment.
Obey the Alpha, and pray that he would never bestow that punishment onto you.
A slave was usually condemned to serve the Alpha as he saw fit until their death.
I couldn't allow this. Just as I couldn't die.
