So many conflicting emotions are coursing through me right now. First and foremost, I feel so broken without Ace.
From all the wolfsbane and silver they have dosed me with, I pray to the goddess that I will be getting him back at all. I know it isn’t fair of me to say I wouldn’t want to live without him, but it is. Your wolf is the other half of your soul. Without it, you would just feel incomplete your entire life. It would be different if you never had a wolf to begin with, like Valentina did initially. Your wolf instincts would have never been activated, and you would never know what you'd miss. But once you have met your sassy, witty counterpart, there is no going without them.
That being said, Valentina and I finally seem to be heading on the right track again. Silver l
