It took literal ages for the darkness to pull back, we have been pushed inside for a few hours already. The guards atop of the castle told us that even they could see nothing but darkness surrounding the entire castle, preventing anyone from going out. I even checked for myself and they were completely right, all I could see was darkness.
When the dark finally starts to pull back, we all tentatively take a step outside, wondering what we are going to find outside. I find it hard to believe they would have stuck around for hours and would be waiting here for us to find them. But then again, if they had left I suppose the dark fog should have retreated as well?
My anxiety grows as we get closer and closer to the spot where I last saw Valentina. I’m not sure what to expect, but
