As Seraphim and Rio whispered their plans in the dim light of their cells, they knew that escaping the Underworld would be no easy feat. The walls were thick, the guards were vigilant, and the very air seemed to sap their strength.
"We need a distraction," Seraphim said, her mind racing. "Something to draw the guards away from our cells."
Rio nodded, his eyes bright with determination. "I have an idea," he said. "Follow me."
With that, Rio began to sing, his voice strong and clear, filling the dark corridors of the Underworld with a haunting melody. Seraphim joined in, her voice blending with his, creating a beautiful, ethereal sound that echoed off the walls.
As they sang, the guards began to stir, drawn by the enchanting music. They approached the cells, their curiosity piqued by the unexpected concert. Seraphim and Rio sang on, their voices growing stronger with each passing moment. The guards, captivated by the music, moved closer, their attention fully focused on the singers.
Seizing the opportunity, Seraphim reached out through the bars of her cell, grabbing the keys that hung from the guard's belt. With a quick motion, she unlocked her cell door and stepped out, followed closely by Rio. The guards, now fully under the spell of the music, didn't notice as Seraphim and Rio crept past them, making their way through the corridors of the Underworld.
As they reached the exit, Seraphim and Rio paused, knowing that their escape was not yet complete. They would need to move quickly, before the guards realized what had happened.
With a final glance back at the dark, foreboding realm they were leaving behind, Seraphim and Rio stepped out into the cool night air, free at last.
Together, they began their search for Valerius, knowing that their journey was far from over, but filled with hope for the future.
The night sky stretched out above them, a blanket of stars twinkling in the darkness. Seraphim and Rio moved cautiously, keeping to the shadows as they made their way through the unfamiliar landscape of the Underworld.
"Where do you think they're keeping Valerius?" Rio whispered, his eyes scanning the horizon.
"I'm not sure," Seraphim replied, her voice barely audible. "But we need to find him quickly. Every moment we waste is a moment he suffers."
They moved on, their senses sharp, alert for any sign of danger. As they rounded a bend in the path, they came upon a group of figures huddled together, their faces hidden in the shadows.
"Who goes there?" a voice called out, filled with suspicion.
Seraphim and Rio froze, unsure of how to proceed. Then, a trio of massive, three-headed dogs emerged from the darkness, their growls low and menacing.
