The bite is done but the ceremony has yet to begin. Ethan may be ready for the change but the pack needs to formally accept him. My gaze shifts from Draven and sweeps past the others I’ve summoned to the pack meeting ground, all waiting in anticipation.
“In redemption for the life I took, I've given a human the bite” I announce, my voice steady. “We should get ready for the induction trials.”
