Thirty-three Cody I stood in the middle of a meadow of blue bonnets watching Cassie as she stretched out her arms. Her sleeveless dress billowed out as she spun around laughing. She stopped then turned to look at me. Her white dress fluttered in the breeze. Her chestnut hair, loose and wild, hit gently against her flushed cheeks. She was breathtaking. She curled her finger, gesturing me to her. When I neared her, I reached out to pull her to me. Just when I was about touch her waist, she disappeared in a puff of smoke. I stopped, blinking in bewilderment.
