Chapter five : who is John Slanders ?!

Ivy and Kelly walks into Kelly’s apartment . Kelly closes the door and keeps Ivy’s luggage beside a chair and walks into the kitchen then came back with a glass and a jar of juice
“ cool leaving room ... are you paying someone to do the cleaning every hour ? ”
Ivy mocked Kelly thou she was surprised cus the Kelly she knew was very messy and disorganized so she wasn’t entirely mocking her
“ of course not , you know my policy right ”
“ yeah of course number one always dress to kill , two never ever shy away from a cute or handsome guy , three always be courageous to make the first move .... I could go on all day ”
Kelly gasped in surprise as she listened to ivy mention all her rules with a mocking smile on her face , yeah though she wasn’t wrong but she didn’t have to sound like that .. Kelly regains herself and clears her throat before speaking
“ well little miss know it all , there’s one you did not mention ”
“ which is .....always use protection? ”
Kelly chocked on the juice the moment the words left Ivy’s mouth, she steered wide eyed at ivy
“ well though that’s not all wrong but that’s not it , it’s a lady’s living room should always look presentable ”
Kelly said looking proud
“ oh that’s nice for the first time you don’t have a policy that’s not corrupt or bad ”
“ surprised?”
“ yeah very, so a ladies living room should always look presentable right?”
“ yap always ”
“ so what about the rest part of the house? , the kitchen, bedroom and the rest ? ”
“ ehmm none of my business? ”
Kelly said and they both started laughing Ivy sighed and looked at her friend , they have been friends for ages and she could never Change that was for sure
“ I still can’t believe we ran all the way here ”
Kelly exclaimed
“ yeah and I can’t believe it was your fault ”
Ivy stated in a matter of fact tone
“ better not believe it then ”
Kelly took another sip from her juice
“ seriously Kells it’s not funny, we almost got arrested and I lost my special hairpin ”
Ivy said and then it actually dawned on her that she lost her special hairpin “ I lost my special hairpin!!!!” She exclaimed this time in horror, that pin meant so much to her and she just lost it
“ about time right , that hairpin was ten years due! ”
Kelly just had to say that , yeah she understood what and how much that hairpin meant to Ivy but in her perspective the pin was holding Ivy back and stopping her from moving forward
“ Kelly! , it’s not overdue, he’s gonna come back ”
Ivy said wanting to convince Kelly, but after saying it she wasn’t sure if it was herself she was trying to convince
“ you’ve been saying that for how long now ?! , am telling you that guy might have moved on and maybe married with ten thousand kids!”
Kelly again tried to make Ivy see reasons
“ he has not moved on and he’ll come back and don’t try to change the topic I am still very mad at you ” she pauses and snatches the juice from Kelly “ and gimme that! ”
“ yeah right keep telling yourself that and I thought you didn’t want some ”
Ivy ignores the first part of Kelly’s sentence and throws her a death stare
“ you didn’t even ask me ”
“ my instincts told me that you didn’t want some and I trust my instincts ”
Kelly said defensively
“ you made me run all the way from that hotel and you couldn’t even give me water, how shroud!”
Ivy said and another gulp of the juice
“ in my defense you’re already drinking the damn juice!!”
Kelly said and pointed at ivy innocently
“ whatever ”
Ivy rolled her eyes at Kelly
“ alright fine am sorry, it was all my fault , you don’t have to get all mad at my very little mis.....”
“ am already mad!!”
Ivy said a little pissed
“ I said sorry ”
Kelly pouted and blinked
“ yeah right and don’t you dare use that eyes on me ”
“ I think I know what would cheer you up ”
Kelly said smiling sheepishly , seeing the look on her face ivy had the feeling she wasn’t going to like what Kelly was about to say
“ what?”
She asked looking uninterested
“ picture this , you and me sitting in the vip section of the k boys concert!”
Kelly jumped up happily and Ivy froze, she knew that she wasn’t going to like Kelly’s plan and she right
“ what? , why aren’t you looking happy as you’re supposed to, I thought you loved k boys ”
Kelly said looking confused
“ no Kelly no I don’t love k boys, I can’t even stand them , what made you think that that I would love them?!”
Ivy looked at Kelly who still had a confused expression on her face
“ I don’t get you , if you don’t love them then why where you playing their song every time I called and you even made one of their songs your ringtone remember ”
“ no Kelly I don’t like them or their songs , it’s my mom who’s their crazy fan not me and it was her who made their song her ringtone not me ”
“ so you mean to say that you don’t like k boys? And that I kelly Quien kissed John slanders for nothing ?! ”
Kelly said angrily
“ oh my Hod Kelly, you kissed John slanders?!” Ivy said with a shocked expression and then paused, the expression on her face changes from shock to that of confusion “ wait who is John Slanders? ”
Ivy said making Kelly to fume even more
“ ivy...”
Kelly picks the remote on the couch and throws it at ivy , Ivy quickly ducks and runs away with Kelly yelling and throwing stuff at her .....
*****thirty minutes later *****
Ivy runs into the kitchen panting heavily , she pauses by the door and turns to check if Kelly was still chasing her but instead saw a shoe flying towards her she immediately ducks and stands to see the fuming face of Kelly
“ Ivy stop running so I can kill you already ”
Kelly yelled angrily and runs after Ivy who runs into the kitchen
“ no thanks and what did I even do for the twentieth time!”
Ivy said as she ducked another shoe that was thrown at her by Kelly
“ oh so now you don’t know what you did now huh ”
Kelly said as she stared daggers at Ivy who was standing opposite her on the other side of the table in the kitchen
“ no I don’t, cus you didn’t tell me , how am I supposed to know when you didn’t even tell me ?! ”
Ivy explained still panting
“ alright fine ,I’ll tell then ”
Kelly said steering daggers at Ivy
“ thank you!”
Ivy said as she threw her hands in the air giving Kelly that ‘finally you’re talking ’ look
“ ok so John Slanders is a forty year old fat pot bellied man with stinky beards and hairs everywhere, when I say everywhere I mean everywhere ”
She said with a disgusted expression
“ Hewwwww... that’s disgusting but what has John Slanders got to do with k boys and I still don’t know why you had to kiss him and how al this is my fault and why you...”
“Would you shut it and let me finish!”
“ sorry ma’m , continue ”
“ well John Slanders happens to be the manager of one of the k boys so I had to kiss him so I could get us amazing front row tickets !!”
“ you mean vip section tickets ”
Ivy said in a low scared tone and before she knew what was happening she was pinned to the wall by Kelly who was pointing a spoon in her face
“ miss Minchuru Ivy McDonald you made me kiss John Slanders and you are coming to the k boys concert with me !!”
Kelly said in a serious tone and ivy could only node
