Stepping up as the Alpha and acting like the future Alpha wasn’t a comfortable fit, but he was determined to do his best. He wasn’t naïve enough to think he could do that on his own though. There were people with a lot more experience than him that he needed to lean on and turn to, and he felt no shame in admitting that.
