Chapter 6: Jayden of the Crystal Moon Pack

Jaydens POV

Once the Sun came up I shifted and walked towards the pack house. My mom was waiting for me. "Your father told me a little too late. We are still sending you to another pack for a party for the next four days" My mom said as I walked up to the pack house. Shifted back I let out a sigh. "Do I really have to go" I ask as I walk up to grab pants from the box by the door. "Sadly yes, Onxy River pack is an ally and his daugther is turning 18 so they invited Alpha kids from neiboring packs. Onxy River is a neutral pack so some of our enemy packs will be there. You still need to behave and represent the pack. Your sister will be going with you" She explained and I nodded. "Where is he" I heard an angry yell. "What have you been doing? You told me yesterday you would take me to get a new outfit" my sister yells as I walk towards my room. "Autumn I'm sorry ok let me shower and I will take you" I say rolling my eyes. "I have to take Emma to school anyways so we are gonna make two stops" I say before going in to shower. I chuckle to myself as Autumn huffs and puffs at my comment. After my shower I pull my hoodie and jeans on. "Lets go" I yell down the hall as i walk towards the car. Autumn meets me about half away. "I'm not riding in the back" she says as i roll my eyes. "I know you never do unless its mom and dad with us" I say knowing that got under her skin. She would rather ride seprate then sit in the back. She hated the back seat and I thought it was rather funny. Pulling into Emmas drive I see she has some big thing for school. "Oh how I dont miss that" I comment as she climbs into the car. "I know right" she comments as we start driving. Soon we see Lilly walking and I pull up to her. "What are you doing?" Autumn says as Lilly hops in. "Autumn Lilly Lilly Autumn" Emma says before talking to Lilly. I cant help but smile at them. Lilly doesnt know that im her wolf, as she calls me. Emma eyes me a few times and I chuckle. "Alright here we are" I say pulling up in front of the school. The two girls get out and then Autumn and I are off to the mall.

Upon arriving at the mall Autumn pretty much ditches me instantly. I walk to the food court and get some food. Since I haven't eaten in almost twenty four hours. After I eat I walk to a men's wearhouse to look at suits. I figure fancy party means fancy clothes. I pick out a black tux with a pin stripe red tie, silver cuff links and a white shirt. I pay for it using my dad's black card. I carry my bags out and go on the hunt for my sister. I look at all the dress shops and then find her in a jewelry store. I sigh as I walk in and see her buying a necklace. "Jay why don't you buy a necklace for your girlfriend" she says winking. I sigh again "because I don't have one" I mumble to her. "Then the birthday girl" she says before pointing to a couple necklaces. "I love this lapis one its so cute but the emerald one is cute too" she says having the clerk pull out the two. "Pick one" she says turning to me. "Tanzanite one" I say pointing to the deep blueish purple one on the end. The clerk nods and pulls it out. I'm not one for jewelry but this one for Lilly. It was a rare stone and was very pretty. "I'll take it" I say paying the clerk. "You got your dress" I say rather bluntly to Autumn who nods and picks up about five bags at her feet. "I have two evening dresses and a ball gown but accessories" she says beaming. I roll my eyes as I place the necklace in my bag before walking out to the car. I glance at my watch. "Ok we have to go. Dad linked me a little while ago saying we were leaving the pack house at 4. Its almost 3 now" I say and Autumn gives me a dirty look."wish you would have told me that before. I'm not close to being ready at least two hours" she states as we drive home. "Well take that up with dad" i say pulling onto the road going to the pack house. Soon we were at the pack house and I parked. I grabbed my bags and walked into the house. "Cuting it a little close" my mom said as I walked past her. "Not for me but maybe for Autumn" I say as I disapper in my room. I didnt want to go and be over two hours away from Lilly. If she needed me I wasnt anywhere close. I sigh grabing clothes for my rather long weekend. This sucks I mumble. 'Tell them no' Gage said 'Gage I cant tell them no. They are my parents and still the current alphas' I say back to my wolf. Gage was a true alpha but he could see be a bit of a block head sometimes. Soon we were on the road again with mom driving. She was going to stay with us while we were there. Apparently her and the Luna of the pack we are visiting are really good friends. Soon we arrived at Onyx River pack. I got my own room while my mom and sister shared a room. Laying on my back my thoughts went back to Lilly. I wanted to protect her from everything but yet I couldn't protect her at the same time. Humans couldnt know about our kind and even if Lilly was one of us she still lived in a house full of humans. "Jay come on you need to meet a few people" my moms voice rang out pulling me from my day dream. I walked out and mom stood with a lady and teenager around my age. "Jayden this is Hannah and Luna Jane" my mom said and I bowed to the luna. "Nice to meet you Luna and Hannah" I say shaking Hannah hand. She smiles and then frowns. "Whats with the frown sweetie" my mom says and Hannah sighs. "He is actually the first cute guy and he isnt my mate. Nothing against you Jayden" Hannah says and I smile. "I understand the disappointment" I say making her blush. Not long after that the party started. Several girls came and talked to me for a little while before wondering off. 'This place is such a bore' Gage whines and I sigh. ' I know but we have to put on a face for our pack. We will be alpha soon enough' I say back to him and he howls in my head. I push him back and watch my sister. She is dancing with some guy then see another and walks to him dances with him. She hopped guys a few times before getting this stare. Future Alpha Kane of the Southern Winds Pack. They were just north of us by an hour. I walk over towards her and Kane pulls her behind him. "I'm not going to take your mate I'm her brother" I say before Autumn smiles. "Jayden I found him" she says smiling. I laugh knowing the next three days was probably going to be a make out fest for them. By day three I was over the stay. "Mom why cant I just leave. We know my mate isnt here and I just want to go" I say and my mom sighs. "Jay if i could I would but they are having a meeting tomorrow of the future alphas. They want to talk about the treaties in place for all the packs. Since your the future alpha I cant let you go" my mom said and I sigh. Great so the end of my weekend is a meeting. The next morning I woke early and went for a walk around thr pack house. Soon an omega was sent for me and i followed them to the meeting area. To my surprise only four packs where present. Kane of Southern Wind pack, me of Crystal Moon, Harry of Onyx River and Spade of Demon Rock. "Welcome Kane Harry Jayden and Spade. I'm Alpha James and I will lead the talk. I understand none of you probably want to be here but we have a few things to go over. First are my rules. You can agree or disagree with someone but when i put my hand up you will stop talking. Second we will take turns talking about upcoming treaties. Third anyone who leaves before we are done will be left out of future meetings and will not be part of the alliance. " alpha James stated and I heard a couple groan. "Alpha James if I leave my pack will no longer be allowed in the alliance?" Kane asked and Alpha James nodded.

"First topic territory of Southern Wind and Demon pack. The border is currently closed do you wish to open or keep the same?" Alpha james said. I could see Kane and Spade exchange glances. "Closed" they both said as Alpha James wrote down a few notes. "Please note you two will meet here again upon your announcement of becoming Alpha" he said before moving on.He went over several topics and at one point had Kane and Spade almost screaming at each other. "As we end the night I would like to say that Onyx River is allies with all of you. We know that Crystal Moon is also allies with all of you. Jayden do you wish to remain allies" he asks and I stand. "I ,Jayden Smith future Alpha of Crystal Moon, wish to remain allies with Onyx River, Southern Wind and Demon Pack." I say before sitting down. "I,Kane future Alpha of Southern wind, wish to remain allies with Onyx River and Crystal Moon. I would like to possibly open the table to becoming allies with Demon pack." Kane says before sitting. "I, Spade Hanson future alpha of Demon Pack, wish to remain allies to Crystal Moon and Onyx River. I would also be open to a possible ally with Southern Wind." Spade said bow his head slightly to Alpha James and then Kane. "With this we conclude our meeting you are all dismissed. If Kane and Jayden would stay for a second i wish to talk to you both." He said as we all stood. I waited until Harry and Spade were gone before looking at Alpha James. "Alright so you to are now entering a terms of marriage agreement." He says and we exchange looks. "Terms of marraige is that once Kane and Autumn are mated and announced Alpha and Luna your packs can not attack each other until either step down or pass away. Do you both understand" Alpha james says and I nod and so does Kane. "Sign here then your both dismissed. If Kane rejects Autumn then this becomes void same if she does it to him. " He adds and then we all leave. That was intresting and I'm so happy my sister found her mate. I meet my mom who is waiting by the car. "Just me and you. Autumn is going to leave with Kane and will return to gather her things in about a week." Mom said as I climb into the car. "I have to stop by your uncle's. I have a gift for your cousin Emma. She turns fifteen tomorrow" my mom said and I nod. We drove and soon were on the stretch leading to my uncles house. As soon as we turn onto their road we notice tons of emergency lights. My heart starts to race as we notice a thick plume of smoke filling the road. An emergency working walks towards our car. "Hello ma'am do you live down this way?" He ask

"No I was on my way to my brother and sister in laws house." Mom says.

"Well I cant let you pass right now. The smoke to too thick and we have a house and some of the forest on fire" he says and I look at my mom and then the man.

"Thank you officer" she says before turning the car around. "Mom I need to get out" i say and my mom nods. "I know thats Lillys house" she adds as she drives up and pulls over. "Jayden be safe" she says before driving off. I walk closer and notice the Johnsons standing outside but Lilly isnt with them. My heart races as I run to the woods and shift. The thick smoke was keeping me from getting too close. I let Gage take over and he sniffed for a second but could only smell smoke. My heart felt like it might rip in half knowing the Lilly might be dead. I couldnt shake the feeling but Gage said he could still sense her and she had to be close. Walking into the woods I found my dad's beta facing someone. He was growling and the person's hands were glowing. There was a figure on the ground just feet from them. I looked a little closer and noticed it was Lilly. Then another appear out of no where and I ran to help the Beta. As I came up the two disappeared with lilly. "Jayden we need to inform your dad. Witches" he said before racing towards the packhouse. I raced after him. 'they have Lilly' Gage said to me. 'I know bud and we are going to get her back no matter what'
